The Story of Voodoo Goo

Voodoo Goo is our line of plant based, all natural body salves. Here's the short version of the sales spiel. These are high quality products made from high quality ingredients. Sounds like a line, but it’s true.

As a professional wig and makeup artist, I've spent the past twenty years saturated in rubbing alcohol, acetone, hairspray, hair gel, prosthetic adhesives, and god knows what else! This tortured my skin. Using products that contained even more chemicals once I got home was a big fat no. Besides, these chemical laden store bought products were not helping my skin! I turned to my plant friends for help.

Plants are amazing!!

Plants produce thousands of chemicals to help them survive. These chemicals are what make plants effective in body care products. Sure, we can synthesize and or isolate specific components from plants. We have the technology. These derivatives and isolations, don’t have the same effect. The complex potions these mighty plants create has magic that modern science cannot replicate. Our philosophy is that the closer to nature your ingredients, the better your product will be.

V is For Voodoo follows the rule of do no harm.

Our all natural body products are sustainably manufactured and packaged. This means that our ingredients are sustainably sourced from ethical suppliers. We never use plants that are at risk or endangered.

All Voodoo Goos are also packaged in a reusable and recyclable tin. There is no plastic in any of our packaging.

We are also cruelty free. We never test on animals. . . unless you count our consenting human friends and family. We’re only cruel to them if they pay us extra.

Powerful ingredients create powerful products!

If you combine aromatherapy and makeup artistry Voodoo Goo all natural salves is what you get. Knowing the why of skin care and the what of plants create amazing formulas. Friends and family love and swear by these products. Add them to your repertoire and so will you!
