What you need to know
Marie Laveau’s ability to uplift and protect those in her community inspired this Lather. The essential oil blend of Laveau vegan soap centers around protection, balance, and cleansing. It is a citrusy floral, with a spicy base.
At the heart of this blend are some tried and true essential oils. Lavender, lemongrass, bergamot, myrrh, and clove often come in beginner aromatherapy sets for a reason! Each of these oils are beneficial powerhouses in their own right. Cassia is in the same family as cinnamon, but cassia is safer to use on the skin.
Marie Laveau Lather is sweet, citrusy, and spicy. It has a floral middle, a citrus top, and a warm spicy bottom. A base of myrrh provides a warm base. It feels like a little hug. Cassia and clove combine in the middle for a spicy center. The top blends bergamot, lemongrass, and lavender. These create a divine, calming, and citrusy crown. This soothing and happy bouquet will uplift and cleanse the spirit, and help calm the mind.
Laveau contains pumice as her exfoliant. This removes dead skin cells. This invigorates and smooths the skin. It also helps to increase circulation and invigorate the skin. Lastly, Laveau Lather contains kaolin clay. This acts as an exfoliating and balancing agent. Kaolin clay also helps to preserve scent in soaps.
Marie Laveau all natural soap is balancing for all skin types. By the way, Laveau is my personal favorite. This is a tough call. It’s like choosing your favorite child. That’s not easy!
